Dreadful Sounds LLC is a DIY punk, metal, and hardcore record store specializing in used and rare vinyl, tapes, CDS, and t-shirts. You can buy, sell, or trade, and we will pay top dollar for punk, metal, and related genres. There is a little bit of everything here from dollar records to sexy covers, classic rock or indie rock, and so much more! You never know what you're going to find. The LPs are sorted by genre so you don't have to dig through every bin to find the grindcore records mixed with the Led Zeppelin - and punk and indie are definitely two different sections. Stop by, hang out on the red velvet couch, say hello to Nacho the store cat, get turned on to some new records, and catch a show or a DJ night.
Our doors opened in June of 2010 and we've been keeping it up since! We've had some help along the way - notable ex-interns include the lovely Lydia Loveless (on Bloodshot Records), and Angry Andy of Vile Gash (CVLT Nation review - on Youth Attack). Currently Mr. Ben Durham is keeping us sane on Sundays. Old Wolf Bartlett even helped a bit too back in the day. Meet some of team Dreadful below:
